Only 82 infections reported today in King County, which is great. However, there were only about 1/3 of the normal number of test results published. There must have been some sort of delay in test results.
In the past few days, there have been about 1,500 test results reported and a positive in 15% of tests. Yesterday, only 562 test results were reported, while maintaining a 15% positive number. Had there been a normal number of tests, we would have seen 200+ infections reported today.
My guess is that we’ll see those extra test results roll into tomorrow or Tuesday. Look for our first 300+ person day coming soon.
The model didn’t flinch – still predicting 206 infections tomorrow.
